JAC — Rebuilding a Dormant Territory

The challenge

The territory had been largely dormant for more than three years: one meaningful customer and four active dealers. Unresolved after-sales service, inconsistent pricing and returns issues had pushed partners away.

The insight

Competitors were under-supplying specific models, including certain TVs and fans. Where JAC could fill that gap, product availability became the way back into stalled accounts.

What I did

  • Established after-sales service centers to fix the maintenance issues behind dealer and customer churn.
  • Standardized pricing and discounts across all dealers in the territory.
  • Proved product quality hands-on, including opening units to compare build quality with competitors, so dealer sales teams had real arguments to sell with.
  • Continuous field visits and new prospecting, turning B2B sell-in into dealer-led sell-out.

Impact

500%Of the annual sales targetReached in 11 months. Sales came in at five times the target; this is target achievement, not a 500% sales increase.
